Jessica Vandy - Founder & Managing Director

Jessica is the founder and director of The Tenth Letter Consulting, a sustainability and impact consultancy specialising in the visitor economy and events sector across Aotearoa New Zealand and the Asia Pacific.

Born in London and raised in the west coast town of Whāingaroa/Raglan, Jessica brings over two decades of experience spanning venue operations, event delivery, destination management, and strategic advisory roles. Her career began inside the industry and evolved into leading national and international sustainability and social impact initiatives including her work at Tourism New Zealand, where she led international bids and developed the Conference Impact Aotearoa programme.

In 2020, she launched The Tenth Letter to offer new solutions to the tourism and events sectors recognising that thriving responsibly required more than incremental change. Her work now spans regenerative tourism, impact measurement, social impact strategy, and capacity building, and she works with destinations, event organisers, and industry bodies across the Asia Pacific to help turn intent into genuine, evidenced impact.

Jessica is a Senior Consultant (Asia Pacific) for GDS-Movement, a faculty member of the GDS-Academy, and a member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals. She is based in Te Matau a Māui, Hawke's Bay.
