Jessica Vandy - Founder & Managing Director

Jessica is the founder and director of The Tenth Letter Consulting, a consultancy specialising in sustainability and impact in the visitor economy across Aotearoa New Zealand and Asia Pacific.

Born in London and raised in the west coast town of Whāingaroa/Raglan, Jessica brings over two decades of experience spanning business development, sales, operations, and now strategy advisory within destinations, venues, events, and tourism. She has worked across public and private sector organisations, including hotels, convention centres, catering, major events, to event attraction at Tourism New Zealand, where she led international bids and developed the Conference Impact Aotearoa programme.

In 2020, she launched The Tenth Letter to offer new solutions for the visitor economy to thrive responsibly. Her work now spans sustainable and regenerative tourism, impact measurement, social impact strategy, and capacity building, and she works with destinations, event organisers, venues, and industry bodies across the Asia Pacific to help turn intent into genuine, evidenced impact.

Jessica is a fractional Senior Consultant (Asia Pacific) for GDS-Movement, a faculty member of the GDS-Academy, and a member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals. She is based in Te Matau a Māui, Hawke's Bay.
